Asthma

Asthma is an allergy that can be treated and stabilised. There is no simple answer as to what causes asthma, other than this is often due to a genetic disorder. With effective monitoring, your symptoms can be stabilised. This can be done by regular checkups with your doctor, monitoring of your peak flow measurements and following an asthma management plan.

Are you using your inhaler correctly? Possibly not!

If you have not recently had your inhaler technique assessed by your doctor, you should arrange an appointment to do so.

Did you know that the majority of patients using inhalers have the incorrect technique, resulting in lower doses of drug delivery?

Getting your technique right could make all the difference!
