Care and Cleaning

Before Use The transparent body permits a visual inspection before use, and if required, a bacterial/viral filter can be used to minimise the risk of cross infection.

To reset the In-Check DIAL To return the pointer to zero, use the method recommended here.

Do Not try to reset the In-Check as if it were a mercury thermometer - this action causes serious damage to the piston and pointer. Clement Clarke International will not replace product that has been mis-used in this way.

Cleaning the In-Check DIAL

Immerse In-Check DIAL in warm (but not hot) mild detergent solution for 2-3 minutes (maximum 5 minutes). Agitate the meter to ensure thorough cleaning. Rinse in warm water and shake to remove any excess water. It is important to rinse thoroughly to prevent salt spots appearing on the inside of the body and the spindle. Allow to dry thoroughly before using again.

To shake excess water from the In-Check, hold only at the end furthest away from the DIAL selector.

The expected life of the In-Check DIAL, in normal use, is two years.
