Clement Clarke have developed a fun way of teaching good peak flow technique !
By attaching a Mini-Wright Windmill Trainer to the meter, and blowing through the mouthpiece, exhaust air spins the sails. If the Windmill is placed close to the mouthpiece, it is easy to make the sails spin - BUT - by moving the Windmill further and further away from the mouthpiece, the person has to blow harder, and harder.......and harder !
Obviously, this is the very essence of good technique, and is particularly suitable for children below 10 years of age, and others who need help with their peak flow manoeuvre.
Available in red and blue, these Windmill Trainers will attach to both the Standard Range and AFS Low Range meters.
